HBS students interested in joining a Harbus Foundation should look for emails and an online application poll in September or October of each school year. In their application, students should express a preference for either a grantmaking team (leading the application and selection process of grant recipients) or the endowment management team (investing on behalf of our endowment). This year, we will also be recruiting a new Fundraising & Outreach team leader.
No prior experience in philanthropy or the non-profit sector is required, but a keen interest in and passion for the mission of Harbus Foundation is essential.
Students should also visit the Social Enterprise Club table at the Club Fair and request information on The Harbus Foundation. Please note that The Harbus Foundation falls informally under the Social Enterprise Club, and also operates distinct from the Board Fellows & Social Enterprise Consulting and HBS Volunteers programs at HBS.
