The Harbus Foundation is the nation’s only foundation run by MBA students. Created by the Harbus News Corporation at Harvard Business School, the Harbus Foundation provides grant awards and consulting services to organizations promoting education, literacy, and journalism across the Boston metropolitan area.


Harbus Foundation celebrates 10th Anniversary!
On Tuesday, April 17th, the Harbus Foundation will celebrate its 10-year anniversary at its annual Grantee Reception. The Foundation?s seven Harbus Business School student-comprised teams will be presenting checks to the nonprofit organizations they have chosen as this year?s grant recipients! In addition to honoring these organizations, this year the Foundation will commemorate ten years of supporting Boston-area nonprofits in the areas of education, literacy, and journalism.

Harbus Foundation offers consulting services to Reach Out and Read
"During the past year, Reach Out and Read has embarked on a significant, multiyear expansion effort to serve an addtional million children. [We needed to find] the best way to structure our field operations to both achieve our growth goals in the short-term and sustain our growth for the long-term. It was in this key capacity building area that we decided to focus the energy and efforts of the Harbus consulting team.
